Baseball Recap: East Pennsboro Starts Season with Victory at Home

East Pennsboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Boiling Springs Bubblers 15-8. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bubblers: they've now won eight in a row.

Ryan Seibert made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Seibert was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Lucas Martz was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Brock Shaffer was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

East Pennsboro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
