Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals
The Maclay Marauders pushed their score all the way to 60 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Snyder. Maclay has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Maclay's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nash Beshears, who scored 19 points. Jalen Crawford was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Maclay's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Bishop Snyder, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season.
Maclay will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Rickards presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Marauders in Florida (the Raiders are ranked 56th, while the Marauders are ranked 453rd). As for Bishop Snyder, they will be playing at home against the Toros at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tocoi Creek will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
