Basketball Recap: Pickerington North Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pickerington North duked it out withCircleville on Sunday. The Pickerington North Panthers took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Circleville Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Tigers are ranked 55th).

This is the second loss in a row for Pickerington North and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Circleville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickerington North will host Thomas Worthington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Circleville has already played their next matchup (against Hamilton Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
