Soccer Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Oak Hill and Hurricane squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Oak Hill had to settle for second. They came up short against the Redskins, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Oak Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Hurricane are ranked second).

Oak Hill has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-2 record this season. As for Hurricane, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3-1.

Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hurricane, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Huntington on the 30th.
