Baseball Recap: Poland Comes Up Short

Poland managed to slip by Gray-New Gloucester the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 11-1 to the Patriots on Thursday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Poland dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gray-New Gloucester, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Poland will square off against rival Lake Region at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gray-New Gloucester is set to take on their familiar foe Leavitt at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
