Holy Ghost Prep scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings by a score of 82-79. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (55), the Firebirds still had to take the loss.

Holy Ghost Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Ghost Prep will host Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Ghost Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Science Leadership Academy at Beeber likes a good challenge. St. John's Catholic Prep and Elizabeth will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
