Basketball Recap: J.P. Stevens Takes a Loss

After flying high against Brearley last Friday, J.P. Stevens came back down to earth. The J.P. Stevens Hawks fell just short of the North Plainfield Canucks by a score of 62-59 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered since January 22, 2024.

J.P. Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for North Plainfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

As of now, neither J.P. Stevens nor North Plainfield have any future games scheduled.
