Baseball Recap: Foley Comes Up Short

Foley lost against Becker back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-4. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Foley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teddy Rasmussen, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Jordan Lewandowski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Foley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Becker, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Coming up, Foley will face off against Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Becker, they will square off against Rocori at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
