Basketball Recap: Dom Mauro's Big Game Can't Quite Lead College Achieve over Patrick School

College Achieve had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 60-50 to the Patrick School Celtics on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

College Achieve's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dom Mauro, who went 6-for-11 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Al Tariq Reevy, who posted 12 points.

Patrick School's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, College Achieve won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Varsity Opponent at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Patrick School, they will face off against Hudson Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
