Brentwood Christian won the last time they faced New Braunfels Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Bears strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Brentwood Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Crouch, who posted 13 points and four steals. Crouch also posted a block, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ella Kennedy, who went 7-for-16 on her way to 16 points.

Brentwood Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Braunfels Christian Academy only posted four.

Despite the loss, New Braunfels Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ellie Schwandt shot 42% from the field to rack up 20 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Schwandt is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Brentwood Christian's record is now 3-1. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
