Volleyball Recap: Hayworth Christian Comes Up Short

Hayworth Christian suffered their biggest loss since September 9, 2024 on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Legacy Athletics Stallions.

While Hayworth Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Legacy Athletics' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 26-24.

Kaitlyn Mullis paced Hayworth Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Mullis got some help from Caroline Briles and her nine assists. Mullis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Hayworth Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Legacy Athletics, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Hayworth Christian will host Sheets Memorial Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Athletics has already played their next matchup (against Heritage Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
