Maysville came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Heath Bulldogs 61-59. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 35-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Heath still got an impressive performance from Peyton Del Cecato, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Del Cecato a new career-high in steals (seven). Kailyn Holmberg was another key player, putting up 13 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Maysville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Heath, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
