Softball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-6 to Plano East. That's two games in a row now that Princeton has lost by exactly 13 runs.

Camila Beltran made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie Rainey, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Plano East, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Princeton will challenge Garland at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plano East, they will take on Timber Creek at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
