Softball Recap: Tara Takes a Loss

Tara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 37-17 to the Port Allen Pelicans. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Tara got a big performance out of Anna Choe, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Leiyah Parker, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Tara's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Port Allen, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tara will host Glen Oaks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Allen, they will take on Livonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
