Basketball Recap: Environmental Charter Takes a Loss

Environmental Charter played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 104-24 loss at the hands of Neighborhood Academy. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Environmental Charter saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Hurst posted eight points.

Environmental Charter dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Neighborhood Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Environmental Charter will square off against Propel Montour at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Environmental Charter is facing Propel Montour at the right time seeing as Propel Montour is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Neighborhood Academy, they will challenge Geibel Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
