After a string of ten wins, Kiefer's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bishop Kelley Comets by a score of 31-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since January 2, 2024.

It was another big night for Anne Blankenship, who went 6 for 14 en route to 12 points in addition to eight steals and six boards for Bishop Kelley. Blankenship is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 37 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Julia Grisaffe, who posted eight points.
