Baseball Recap: Garey Takes a Loss

Garey lost against Sierra Vista on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell just short of the Dons by a score of 5-4. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Loza, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Garey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Sierra Vista, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-13.

Garey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Vista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nogales at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
