Soccer Game Preview: Animo Bunche vs. Los Angeles

The Animo Bunche Stallions and the Los Angeles Romans will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Los Angeles took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Animo Bunche, who comes in off a win.

Animo Bunche picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They blew past Panorama 5-1. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of South East. While losing is never fun, the Romans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 889th, while the Jaguars are ranked 52nd).

Animo Bunche is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five matches. As for Los Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
