Basketball Recap: Crane Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Crane waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Monument/Dayville Tigers, posting a 57-20 victory. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Tigers are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crane is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Monument/Dayville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Crane will head out to square off against Adrian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Crane's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Monument/Dayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
