Football Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Smiths Station fell victim to Enterprise and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Wildcats 38-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Enterprise's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Burkhardt, who threw for 205 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes. What's more, Burkhardt racked up 130.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Kenyon Kilow did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 91 receiving yards.

Smiths Station's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Smiths Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Enterprise, they will take on Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 4.1 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
