Sayreville strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 37-28 win over the Franklin Warriors. For the Bombers, this counts as revenge for the 22-21 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Tyler Butka threw for 59 yards on three of six attempts. Andrew Provenza was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Shaun Jackson rushed for 338 yards and four TDs while picking up 16.9 yards per carry.

Sayreville's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sayreville will host Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will challenge Monroe Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
