Basketball Game Preview: Hooper Academy Colts vs. Lakeside School Chiefs

The Hooper Academy Colts are taking a road trip to square off against the Lakeside School Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hooper Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Lakeside School likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Hooper Academy got the win against Coosa Valley Academy by a conclusive 65-42.

Meanwhile, Lakeside School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-58 heartbreaker at the hands of Fullington Academy.

Hooper Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lakeside School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Hooper Academy against Lakeside School when the teams last played last Monday, as the squad secured a 71-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
