Eagle Pass had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Alexander on Tuesday. Everything went the Eagle Pass Eagles' way against the Alexander Bulldogs as the Eagle Pass Eagles made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Mia Silva, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Elisa Gomez also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Eagle Pass' win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Alexander, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Pass will square off against United at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. United has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something Eagle Pass will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Alexander, they and Laredo LBJ will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
