Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Forrest

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middle Tennessee Monarchs, Forrest was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Harpeth Indians. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.

Forrest pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Harpeth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Forrest will head out to square off against Community at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harpeth, they will square off against Cheatham County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cubs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.71 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
