Softball Preview: Blissfield Royals vs. Whiteford Bobcats
Blissfield hasn't had much luck against Whiteford recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Royals will square off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Savannah Stalker was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Stalker was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, Genesis Elliott was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Busdieker, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Whiteford had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-11 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
