Basketball Game Preview: John Battle Trojans vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers

The John Battle Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Pigeon Forge Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, John Battle came up short against Abingdon and fell 70-57. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pigeon Forge challenged Knoxville Central on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Bobcats are ranked 64th).

Pigeon Forge's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for John Battle, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
