Soccer Recap: Catasauqua Comes Up Short

Catasauqua fought the good fight in their overtime match against Pen Argyl on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Green Knights by a score of 2-1. Catasauqua have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Catasauqua's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Pen Argyl, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Catasauqua will challenge rival Bangor at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Pen Argyl is set to take on their familiar foe Salisbury Township at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
