Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Peters Township Indians

The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Peters Township Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Mt. Lebanon came up short against Upper St. Clair and fell 41-31. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Panthers are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Peters Township beat Bethel Park 54-42 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Black Hawks: they've now won six in a row.

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Peters Township, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Mt. Lebanon came up short against Peters Township in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 62-54. Can Mt. Lebanon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
