 After a string of seven wins, Pittsfield's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They took  a  4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasant Hill Wolves. The  defeat   continues a  trend for Pittsfield in their matchups with Pleasant Hill: they've now lost five in a row.
 For Pleasant Hill's part,  McKinley Lowe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Lowe has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
