The Kokomo Wildkats and the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Kokomo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Logansport 106-45. The Wildkats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Zion Bellamy, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points along with six steals and five assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Korbyn Hammel, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 18 points and seven assists.
Bellamy wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Kokomo was working as a unit and finished the game with 30 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Fort Wayne Snider's strategy against Fort Wayne Northrop on Friday. Fort Wayne Snider was the clear victor by a 75-49 margin over Fort Wayne Northrop. With the Panthers ahead 34-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Fort Wayne Snider's win came from a few key players Kokomo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Xavier Wilson, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Qualyn Clopton, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Kokomo pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Kokomo and Fort Wayne Snider are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Kokomo hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 82.5 points per game. However, it's not like Fort Wayne Snider struggles in that department as they've been averaging 59.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Kokomo didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Fort Wayne Snider in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, but they still walked away with a 45-40 victory. Will Kokomo repeat their success, or does Fort Wayne Snider have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
