Soccer Recap: Highland Wins Going Away Against Bakersfield

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridgeview, Highland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bakersfield Drillers as the Highland Scots made off with a 3-0 victory. Daniel Murillo had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Scots got from the refs.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 9-6-7. As for Bakersfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-7.

Highland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Bakersfield Christian on the 30th. As for Bakersfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Centennial on the 30th.
