Basketball Recap: Legacy Academy Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Legacy Academy had won seven straight games and Oaklee Lofton did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Legacy Academy Warriors were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over the Oden Timberwolves thanks in part to Lofton, who posted 40 points. Her evening made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Legacy Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Oden, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Academy and Victory Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season. Oden will take on Blevins in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oden is facing Blevins at the right time seeing as Blevins is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
