Baseball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short

Red Level was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Brantley Bulldogs. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Connor Blackwell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Red Level is 2-1 when Blackwell posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

Red Level's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Brantley, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Red Level had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
