Volleyball Recap: Fall River's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Fall River can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders. The Pirates were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Golden Raiders, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

Fall River's offense was headlined by Natalie Fietz and Emma Sampson, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Addison McDonald and her 12 assists. Fietz and McDonald didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Fall River's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sheboygan North, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fall River has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wittenberg-Birnamwood on the 29th. As for Sheboygan North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sevastopol on the 30th.
