Coshocton triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Colton Conkle

Recap: Coshocton Redskins vs. River View Black Bears
The Coshocton Redskins had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 66-55 win over River View. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Colton Conkle was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Moore, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
Coshocton's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for River View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Coshocton will be playing in front of their home fans against Maysville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Maysville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for River View, they will head out on the road to face off against Morgan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
