Volleyball Recap: Solorio Comes Up Short

Solorio was the 2-0 winner over Brooks when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Sun Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Tuesday.

While Solorio ultimately came up short, they really made Brooks work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19.

Solorio's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 16-7-3. As for Brooks, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Solorio will be playing at home against Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooks, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lindblom at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
