Volleyball Recap: Castleford Falls to Wendell in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Castleford had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Wendell Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Castleford sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-13, 17-25, 16-14.

The win got Wendell back to even at 1-1.

Castleford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Valley on the 26th. As for Wendell, they will take on Shoshone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
