Harlingen came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the San Benito Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Cardinals have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting San Benito from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Juliana Garcia led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Harlingen's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for San Benito, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18-2.
