Geneseo is 7-1-1 against Alleman since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Maple Leafs are taking a road trip to challenge the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m.

Geneseo is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Dunlap just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Geneseo's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Alleman sidestepped Moline for a 3-2 victory. The win continues a trend for Alleman in their matchups with Moline: they've now won three in a row.

Alleman's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matchups. As for Geneseo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Geneseo came out on top in a nail-biter against Alleman in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Maple Leafs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
