Basketball Recap: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Seguin Matadors
Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 71-61 to the Seguin Matadors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.
It was another big night for Corey Dailey, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds for Seguin. Dailey is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Colton Saengerhausen was another key player, going 6 for 8 on his way to 16 points and five boards.
Burbank's loss dropped their record down to 13-20. As for Seguin, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.
