Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Abingdon Falcons. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Abingdon are ranked 102nd).

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Abingdon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Lee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Ridgeview on the 25th. Hopefully Abingdon paid attention to the Generals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
