Volleyball Recap: Wayne School of Engineering Takes a Loss

Wayne School of Engineering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Village Christian Academy Knights.

Wayne School of Engineering took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-19.

Braeden McPhail paced Wayne School of Engineering's offense, picking up four kills. McPhail got some help from Teddy Acorn and his six assists.

Wayne School of Engineering's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Village Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Wayne School of Engineering wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hoke County on the 16th. As for Village Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fayetteville Academy on the 16th.
