Recap: Madison Bulldogs vs. Deubrook Dolphins
The Madison Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Deubrook 73-41 at home. That looming 73-41 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Madison yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Deubrook lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jake Jorenby. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Jorenby's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Gass, who scored eight points.
Madison pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Deubrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Baltic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Baltic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday. Deubrook is on the road again on Friday and play against Chester at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
