The Stuyvesant Peglegs will challenge the John Adams Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

John Adams will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Stuyvesant extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Peglegs breezed past Cardozo to the tune of 39-0. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for the Peglegs this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Adams). They were the clear victors by a 30-6 margin over Lehman on Saturday.

John Adams' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Stuyvesant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything went Stuyvesant's way against John Adams in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Stuyvesant made off with a 25-0 win. Will the Peglegs repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
