Volleyball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was the 2-1 winner over Kemp when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Winona's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kemp, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Winona and Kemp will both be playing Grand Saline the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
