Softball Preview: East Limestone Indians vs. Madison Academy Mustangs
East Limestone hasn't had much luck against Madison Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The East Limestone Indians will take on the Madison Academy Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
East Limestone barely beat Priceville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. East Limestone blew past Priceville 11-3 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Abby Thompson looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed over her last six matches.

Madison Academy pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Limestone, their record is now 13-5.
