Basketball Game Preview: Achievement First Providence Falcons vs. Prout Crusaders

The Achievement First Providence Falcons will face off against the Prout Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with 18 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Achievement First Providence turned things around against Davies Career & Tech on Friday. They secured a 45-39 W over the Patriots.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prout, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down Providence Country Day 60-43 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Prout's win came from a few key players Achievement First Providence will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ryan Antonucci, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Horne, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points.

Prout's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Achievement First Providence, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
