Soccer Recap: Hereford Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Hereford's offense. They came up short against the West Plains Wolves on Friday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Whitefaces can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 759th, while Wolves are ranked 231st).

Hereford's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10. As for West Plains, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Coming up, Hereford will face off against Pampa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hereford is facing Pampa at the right time seeing as Pampa is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for West Plains, they will take on Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
