After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grace Christian Academy, Berean Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jaidyn Baird paced Berean Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Baird got some help from Natalie Sherwood and her 17 assists. Jordyn Baird controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Berean Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Berean Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Cedar View Christian on the 5th. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Lakeway Christian Academy on the 9th.
