Basketball Game Preview: Minico Spartans vs. Preston Indians

Minico hasn't had much luck against Preston recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Minico Spartans will face off against the Preston Indians at 7:30 p.m.

Back in December of 2024, Minico came up short against Canyon Ridge and fell 59-48.

Meanwhile, Preston waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-41 victory over the Bobcats. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 28 points or more this season.

Preston pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Minico, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Minico was dealt a bruising 62-34 defeat at the hands of Preston in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Minico avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
